Your donation to the Warrick Humane Society helps us care for dogs and cats who are waiting at WHS for their forever families.
We need help with medical expenses, feeding and care. Thank you for supporting the WHS mission: to eliminate homelessness
in pets and to encourage spay/neuter in our pets.

Sweet little beagle mix puppies are available at WHS. Adoption fee is $200. See
all their pictures on our Pets on Parade page!
2010-2011 Marketing Committee ATTENTION! With
the new year, WHS is restructuring our committees. If you have or need marketing experience, and would like to serve on the
marketing committe, please email ashleysollars@gmail.com asap for information on our meeting next week. We need several members of the community
to help us plan and execute our 2010-2011 marketing plan for Warrick County's no-kill shelter. This is a great way to support
local homeless animals by utilizing your talents and time. All are welcome to attend.
Senior Discount for Senior Cats Our vet has cleared the five cats we recieved from the estate of Sue Kester. They are now available for
adoption. As these are mostly elderly cats, we are offering a "Seniors discount for Senior Cats." For anyone 55
and older, these cats may be adopted for $25 each. Stop by and see them. They are really wonderful, healthy, loving cats.
You can see their photos on the Available Pets page on our web site. For those of you who are
younger than 55, the adoption fee for these cats only is $50.
Winter Blues We have an ample supply of dog food for anyone
who is in need. (Thanks to WalMart. We get all their torn bags.) Please come to Warrick Humane Society, 5722 Vann Road, Newburgh,
between noon and 4 p.m., Tuesday-Saturday if you need help feeding your pets this winter. If you are able, WHS staff would
appreciate your donating an hour of service in return for your pet food. List of ongoing needs:
bleach; powdered cleanser like Comet; blankets, sheets, towels, dog and cat beds; pet and baby shampoo; odo-ban; collars and
leashes; dog and cat toys; pet crates; flea prevention treatments; heartworm preventive; cash to keep the bills paid and the
machines running. We are not currently using newspapers. The boiler is on
the fritz again and it's probably a bearing. The dogs and cats are feeling the chill. If you have available cash, we could
use the help. Maintaining equipment is one of our major financial drains. Thanks.
Women's Club of Newburgh Annual Arts & Crafts Show/Taste of Newburgh Warrick Humane Society will be participating in the Women's Club of Newburgh annual Arts & Crafts Show/Taste

auction items; and treats and toys for dogs and cats on sale. Please look for our booth to the right of the main entrance,
adjacent to the school office.
