How You Can Help
Our volunteers are indispensable. Dozens of dedicated women and men donate hundreds of hours in virtually every department of the shelter. Some are here 2 or 3 days per week, while others come in one afternoon. All levels of commitment are greatly appreciated. If you love animals and like working with people, consider volunteering. Junior Volunteers
If you are interested in being part of our Junior Volunteer Program please stop by the Humane Society for more information. You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer without parental supervision. Please wear clothes that you can get dirty, closed-toe shoes or boots and make sure you have a ride home at or before 4 p.m. You can fill out our volunteer application either at the Humane Society or online and email it to whspac@yahoo.com
Critter Crusaders
Children between the ages of 8 and 12 are eligible for our Critter Crusader program. Our summer session starts on June 12th and ends on July 31st. They meet at WHS every Tuesday from 4pm to 5pm. The cost for this program is $10.
Special Event Volunteers

WHS Board of Directors
The Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing the operations at the Humane Society; Board members meet monthly to review the status of committee work and financials. If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors or participating on the Fundraising or Marketing committee please email cbuddycat@aol.com
We rely on donors like you to maintain our "no-kill" status. Because WHS receives no tax dollars, our work is made possible only by the generosity of people like yourself. Your donation to the Warrick Humane Society helps us care for dogs and cats who are waiting at WHS for their forever families. We need help with medical expenses, feeding and care. Thank you for supporting the WHS mission: to eliminate homelessness in pets and to encourage spay/neuter in our pets.
