Our Adoption Process

Our goal at Warrick Humane Society is to place healthy adoptable pets into loving homes for life. We encourage the public seeking a pet to come to our center and spend time with the animal. We require an approved application for adoption to make sure our pets are going to "forever homes" that will give them the best care. Many of our furkids haven't had the best life prior to coming here and it is our mission and goal to make sure that homelessness or abuse will never again be a part of their lives. We do out of state adoptions, but do require that you come to Warrick Humane Society to meet the animal and take them home.

We offer an extensive library where pet owners and families can find all sorts of helpful information on their new family member. We also have a large dog park where you can play with the dogs and see how they react away from the kennel area.

We work diligently to teach each dog at the center a few basic commands before going home. We also offer obedience classes and agility classes at the center throughout the year.
