WHS is proud to announce our assocition with Nan Potter, KPACTP, ABCPDT of Compassionate Critter Care.
She is working up a schedule of classes now for WHS. Nan will donate a portion of each training fee to WHS, as well as help
train dogs that are adopted from WHS, when needed.
Nan
uses positive reinforcement and humane training methods to correct behavior issues, such as jumping up on people, excessive
barking, digging, chewing, and not coming when called. She offers non-punishmnet based training and appreciates the human-animal
bond.
She will take care of
your pets in your home if you find they don't do well in a boarding situation. She points out that boarding pets
in facilities such as our Home Away Pet Lodge is usually a great idea; but in some instances, it just isn't feasible. That's
where we recommend her for home pet sitting.
Call
Nan at 812.589.8946 to schedule an individual training consultation or watch our web site for the kick off of new group training
sessions.
Nan's
passion is to assist people to better understand their dogs and thus build a strong bond between people and pets. She is a
graduate of the Karen Pryor Academy for Animal Training and Behavior.
