	1st Annual Yorkie Wedding Bash The bride has her gown. The groom's tux is ready. The wedding of the ages is about to happen at Warrick Humane Society.The mother of the bride and groom cordially invites the public to attend the nuptials of Fendi and Bijou. The couple is registered at the Pet Food Center and Home Away Pet Lodge and Grooming. It's the first annual Yorkie Bash, Saturday, June 26, 11 a.m.-3 p.m. The ceremony is for the dogs of Andrea Taborn, manager at Warrick Humane Society. She thought it would be a fun gathering of Yorkie owners and lovers. At this point, Taborn has a collection of four Yorkies, either purchased from a breeder or rescued. Along with the wedding, she said there will be prizes for the best dressed Yorkie, the one with the longest hair and the largest Yorkie. Other canine activities include swimming pool fun and games; while for human children, there will be inflatables, sno cones, hot dogs and more. For information, contact Taborn at 858-1132. Admission is $10 per family, regardless of the number of Yorkies. No large dogs, please. Proceeds will go to support the Warrick Humane Society, 5722 Vann Rd., Newburgh. A local rescue group will be on hand with adoptable Yorkies and breed information. The event is sponsored by Big Blue Landscape and Irrigation and Party Rental Store in Henderson.
